Now, a Low Cost Die Cutting Solution for HP Indigo ® Users!

This new version of the successful AR-Series has a 13” (33 cm) web-width format designed expressly for die cutting the roll fed production of the HP Indigo digital printer.

The AR-Series, 13”, holds close tolerance registration of each image repeat through a proprietary servo/mechanical drive mechanism, fiber optic photo sensors, and electronic controllers that enable the rotary dies to adjust to each repeat variation. Web speeds are variable to 70 feet per minute (21.3 meters per minute).

The AR-13 can use both solid rotary dies, and flexible dies with magnetic cylinders. Sohn provides the highest quality solid rotary and flexible dies.

The AR-13 can be configured for stand-alone roll to roll operation, or inline operation with the HP Indigo digital printer. Repeat sizes range from 6” (152mm) to 28” (711mm).

Available features include:

• Lamination using both linered and unlinered materials.
• UV varnish application and curing in flood coat and spot coat registration capabilities.
• One and two die stations, or more upon request.
• Die station options include interchangeable anvils for gear pitch selection, and top and right angle die cutting.
• Heavy duty bearer system.
• Air knives for slitting multiples across.
• Electrical requirements either 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps, or 220 VAC, 50 Hz, 10 Amps.
• Touch screen interface with both automatic and manual adjustments.
• Fixed or mobile stand.
